Hi, I’m Jenny. I’m currently a junior here at Rutgers majoring in Psychology with hopes to enroll in the masters program for elementary and special education. I have always had a passion for working with children. My summers consist of nannying for three kids who have exuberant personalities. It can be pretty tiring sometimes, but I love them anyway. When I’m not nannying, I volunteer for an organization called Fill-A-Need Foundation. Click here! Fill-A-Need Foundation is dedicated to ‘bridging the gap’ between adults with special needs and the community. Our goal is to build a campus where adults can go after high school and create a future that displays their passions. I really could go on and on about Fill-A-Need Foundation. It truly is an amazing organization.
So anyway, I am an only child, and surprisingly, I love it. The bonds I share with my friends feel even stronger because they are like the sisters I never had. I live in a small town in central jersey and have lived there all my life. I have never moved once.
I love to travel and wish I could do more of it. I have been to Europe once to visit my family in Hungary. We actually have a town in Hungary named after us. It’s called ‘Litke.” My family ‘Americanized’ the name when they came to America by adding the Y.
I love to bake and wish that I could be successful in owning a cupcake shop. Maybe one day that dream will become a reality.
I’m posting this so late because I just added this class. I’m looking forward to a good semester!
